Welcome to SIMPLY SERENE WELLNESS CENTER

Get care from the people who really do care.

We believe that effective therapy is:
Who we are

Mental health is a human right, not a privilege.

Mental health, like physical health, is an intrinsic and universal aspect of the human condition. The observance of World Mental Health Day is a reminder that mental health is not just an individual concern but a collective one, deeply intertwined with the broader pursuit of improved mental health and being, sustainable development, and human rights.

Our Value

Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.

  • “I found that with depression, one of the most important things you can realize is that you’re not alone. You’re not the first to go through it, you’re not gonna be the last to go through it,” — Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

If you can laugh together, you can work together

Providing you with a safe space to heal.

At SSW we provide safe space  and environment that allows people to manage their emotional distress and feel safe and protected from harm. Safe spaces can help people process and manage their emotions, build self-esteem, and promote personal growth.

Consultations

A full schedule can make it challenging to get the help you need when you’re ready. The best time to consider mental health support is before you’re overwhelmed with depression, anxiety, addiction or other mental health concerns. Your mental health consultant makes it easier to get the best possible care for your routine, health needs and wellness goals. Ready to meet? Schedule an appointment today.

Therapy

Talking with a therapist or counselor can help you deal with thoughts, behaviors, symptoms, stresses, goals, past experiences and other areas that can promote your recovery. Of course, talking with a therapist about personal issues can be tough, but it can help you come to grips with problems in your life. It can also offer an emotional release and a sense of really being heard, understood and supported.

What we offer

Get treatment for all your mental healthcare needs.

Individual Therapy

is a collaborative process between you and your therapist. People seek therapy for help with issues that are hard to manage alone and have become obstacles to their well-being and optimal function.

Family Counseling

Our Family Therapist helps families improve communication, resolve conflicts, and develop healthy relationships. Counselors work with the entire family unit to address issues as a group, and sessions often focus on improving relationships and understanding among family members.

Group Therapy

Joining a group of strangers may sound intimidating at first, but group therapy provides benefits that individual therapy may not. Psychologists say, in fact, that group members are almost always surprised by how rewarding the group experience can be.

Couples Therapy

In couples therapy, you’ll learn conflict-resolution strategies and how to communicate more effectively. You’ll explore relationship patterns, restore trust, rediscover your passions for one another, and address dysfunction, building a healthier, stronger, loving relationship.

Substance Use Therapy

A substance use disorder is more than a physical dependence on drugs or alcohol. Even after detox, when your body is no longer dependent, you’re at high risk for relapse. Certain psychological and social factors can be powerful triggers that lead to relapse: Stress, especially sudden life stresses Cues in the environment, like visiting a neighborhood Social networks, like spending time with friends who continue to use These things can create a strong ongoing urge to use again. Counseling helps you escape cravings and learn to manage what life throws at you without drugs or alcohol.
